This behavior checklist was created for student's who have difficulty sitting at their desk and paying attention to the lesson, asking for help when they need it, and acting appropriately in a classroom setting. It is used daily for one class period and allows the student to set a goal before class begins. Teachers will mark each time the child does one of the items on the behavior checklist. At the end of class the teacher will review the chart with the child and will sign it. Usually, I have have the child trade in a successful contract for something they find reinforcing, i.e. computer time. It was very beneficial to my classroom management and overall student behavior. Enjoy!
