This clip chart is designed for teachers to manage student behavior. Everyday students start in the middle of the chart on "Ready to Learn." When students are making smart choices, sharing, working quietly, collaborating, etc. you can clip them up (using clothespins with their name on them) or depending on the age group they can clip themselves up. If students are not making smart choices they can be clipped down. The top of the chart starts as following:
-Outstanding! (Highest level student can achieve)
-Good Job! (Doing good)
-Ready to Learn (Students start on this level every day)
-Think About It (Warning)
-Teacher's Choice (Time Out, Apology letter, etc)
-Parent Contact (Make phone call to parents, message on parent-teacher communication app, etc.)
*This chart is designed for moving the clip up/down one at a time and it is always changeable! Teachers should always provide opportunities for students to change their behavior. So if students get clipped down, monitor their behavior and as soon as you see the student doing something positive, clip them up immediately and use positive feedback.
