The Clip Chart is a behavior management system that is used in many classrooms. It is used to promote positive reinforcement, but also allows the teacher to give consequences when appropriate.
In my kindergarten classroom, I use this clip chart on the back of my magnetic file cabinet. I use bee magnets instead of clothes pins for students to move their names up and down. My chart goes in the following order:
Role Model (purple)
Showing Pride (blue)
Ready to Learn (green)
Think About It (yellow)
Teacher’s Choice (orange)
Parent Contact (red)
You will receive the above clip charts in those colors. If you need any colors/words changed please email me after downloading and I will do that for you!
All students begin each day on “Ready to Learn.” They have many opportunities to move their names up and down throughout the day. Make sure that you are always looking for the positive in students and opportunities for students to move their names up!
My students color an individual calendar at the end of each day to show their parents what color they were on!
To set this up in your classroom print on cardstock, laminate and put together in this order. You can attach to a magnetic board, staple to a wall, string together with decorative ribbon or you can put them in a pocket chart.
After downloading please leave feedback and follow my store for more bee theme products!
