I’m sure you’ve heard of a Clip-Chart. If not, you can search through Pinterest and found a countless number of examples. Essentially, a clip chart is a behavior management tool. Each day students start at “Ready to Learn”. Given your classroom expectations, students are rewarded for good behavior and “clip up” – to good choice, great choice, and finally, outstanding. However, if students make unwanted behavior choices then they “clip down” – to think about it, teacher choice, and contact home.
This is a classic clip-chart with a zebra/safari/jungle theme!
