UPDATED for the 2017-18 School Year!
I have created a behavior clip chart to use in my classroom for behavior management. I have tried many different management systems and found this one to work best for me. Each student has a clothespin that starts the day on green. Students move their pins up and down throughout the day depending on their behavior. In order to reinforce positive behavior, I move pins “UP” a lot during the day.
In order to communicate with parents and keep a record of student behaviors, I created monthly behavior calendars. At the end of each day, students fill in the circle to match the color their clip is on. A code is on each calendar for parents to reference.
I always copy my parent behavior letter on the back of the calendars. It’s a great reference for parents that contains an explanation of our behavior system and school rules. I have provided a copy of my letter in this packet.
As a bonus, I have also included blank calendars for you to use as you wish.
Calendars are updated each year. Simply, re-download for the most up-to-date calendars.
