This system takes the typical behavior clip chart and turns it on its head. Instead of teachers judging student behavior, students AND teachers BOTH take ownership of their own feelings and set goals to create the optimal learning environment!
This is an "alternative" clip chart system that is designed to help students and teachers to become self-reflective about their learning. Teachers will normalize different types of learning feelings (pride in work, doing work even when interest is low, feeling focused, feeling distracted, feeling wiggly, etc) and help children set goals to improve their own learning experiences.
This package include three different clip charts. One is designed to help students reflect after independent work times. One is specifically designed for group lessons and discussions, and one is focused strictly on emotions.
You will also receive data collection forms for teacher use as a resource. Teachers can keep track of how students are labeling their feelings at different times of day in order to gain insight into their reactions and motivation during different activities.
