Behavior File Folder Activities:
Autism, Aspergers, ED, ADD, ADHD, ED
Use behavior sorting file folders for one-on-one instruction and independent station work. Behaviors must be explained and positive prosocial behavior taught in order for students to successfully access their educational curriculum. Behavior activities such as these file folders are meant to be used as teaching tools to discuss behavior before an incident occurs in order to provide students with the necessary skills to positively manage their behavior when the time arises.
The time a student is in crisis should not be used as a teachable moment. These behavior activities can be used after an individual has deescalated to review behavior choices. This packet contains six different behavior based sorting activities including
☞ Activity 1: Classroom Rules
☞ Activity 2: Control Your Behavior
☞ Activity 3: Good Choices and Bad Choices
☞ Activity 4: How to be a Friend
☞ Activity 5: How to Talk to Teachers
☞ Activity 6: Think About Your Actions
Use these for preschool children or those with disabilities including autism, Asperger’s, emotional disability, attention deficit disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Great for special education teachers, general classroom teachers, speech and language pathologists, social workers, guidance counselors, instructional assistants, and parents.
