I use a variety of different behavior incentives throughout the year. This year, as the year comes to an end, I have implemented this system. I use the game board as an incentives for particular classes, and I use the table group incentives for my class that specifically needs more attention and reinforcement.
If the students have a good class period, they spin and move closer to the finish line. They can also earn immediate class prizes which can be modified to fit your class. I have a list of large rewards when the students reach the finish line.
The table groups, I chose specific tables to spin. More than one table can come up if more than one is on task. They win an immediate prize, but have no finish line.
The game "Pick a Prize" can be won on the Table game board, but it can be added to the larger one. The students come up and pick a box individually. The receive the prize that shows up. Make sure you constantly change the boxes around, otherwise the students learn where each prize is. There is one "jackpot" prize, which for my school is 25 bamboo bucks. This can be modified for your school/class.
Great for End of the Year or Beginning of the Year Behavior Management for all different grade levels.
