Check-In, Check-Out Sheet
Each morning I meet one-on-one with my student(s) and go over their check-in/out sheet with them. We set personal goals for the day and I continue to remind the students about their goals throughout the day.
Together we read through each goal and talk about what the goals may look like. If a student was working hard on a particular goal the day before, I am sure to mention it – Ex: “Being responsible means always finishing your work, which I know that you always do! You are such a hard worker”
I also take a brief moment to ask the students how their day is going – this gives me a feel for how the day will go.
At the end of the school day, I briefly meet with each student again to talk about how their day went. Were they able to meet all of their goals, did they have trouble meeting a particular goal (if so, we talk about strategies to use tomorrow), and how they feel their day went.
This resource is also very effective when used with a behavior chart. The student(s) and I color in their behavior charts as we talk about how the day went.
Check out my store for examples of Behavior Management charts!!
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT EDITABLE. If you would like specific goals added to your check-in/out sheet, please send me a message and I will create an updated goal sheet for you.
