These behavior management cards are a great addition to any tiered behavior management plan. I used them in my classroom with a stop light behavior plan. I printed the Awesome Day on Green, the Caution on Yellow, the Warning on Orange and the Stop on Red. These cards were placed in a pocket on the outside of the students' daily folders so parents could, at a glance, see what kind of day their child had. I would briefly write on the yellow, orange, and red cards noting to the parents what happened that day, and ask the parents to sign and return them. It is a great way to document the students behavior. I have also used these cards with a positive reinforcement behavior plan, where the Awesome Day card was printed on multiple colors. (i.e. Green for Good, Blue, for Great, Pink for Super, and Purple for Excellent behavior.) A tip that I recommend is laminating the Awesome Day Cards, as I reused them continuously.
