The first page is for you to laminate and use a dry-erase marker to give questions ahead of time to that child who needs more thinking time. Give them a chance to participate by giving them a question that you will ask sometime in the lesson before you begin the lesson. The other cards are meant to be cut-out and laminated. The child will choose which one he or she feels based upon the question being asked without saying it out loud. It is a discrete way for those children to participate who may otherwise may not. Cards say: I don't know, I need more time to think, I know the answer I want to write it down, I think I know the answer I just need help. Also one blank card.
