Use this ocean themed clip chart to help management student behavior. This system gives students a visual of their behavior and what happens when they make positive and negative choices!
How It Works:
You will need a clothespin for each student. I write a number that corresponds with each child instead of using their names. (They know their number based on alphabetical order in the class.)
At the beginning of the day, all students start at “Ready to Learn”. (This card is bigger than others in the set so you have room for all students’ clothespins.)
When you monitor your class, have students move their clips up and down the chart based on their actions. You can create an incentive for reaching the top of the chart depending on how you would like to run your class!
Some people have multiple levels distinguished by new clothespins or stickers. Other teachers have given rewards from a treasure box or other classroom incentives.
Black lines are given for easy cutting!
