Behavior Management- "Don't be a fish out of water!" contains items to help you manage disruptive behavior and encourage positive behavior!
To manage disruptive behavior, students each get their own fish that they need to keep in the water. Students can each have their own fishbowl, or you can make one big fish bowl out of bulletin board paper (big fishbowl not included). Have a student that needs his/her own plan? Don't worry! There is a page just for that student. It has a red, yellow, and green block: Laminate it and write specific things for that student in each block. This product also includes behavior charts (weekly and monthly) that you can use for parent communication and/or to track behavior.
In order to encourage positive behavior, this product has two pages of the word "fish" (one for whole group and one page you can cut apart for each student to have their own). Each letter is outlined and by doing certain things (completing work, following directions, etc), students earn the opportunity to color in a letter. When all letters are colored in, they get the incentive (no HW, class party, game, etc)! There are also two pages of incentive charts (one with 9 blocks and one with 16) where students can draw a fish in each block. Once they have filled in all their blocks, they receive the incentive. Finally, there is a certificate page. One certificate says "I had a "fish"tastic day!" and the other says "I'm "fish"tastic because _____".
