Print the main chart out and post it either in a students work area or a central classroom area. Frequent regular "check-in" use will teach the system so when the student is upset this tool will be helpful and not frustrating.
The first main chart has verbal prompt tips. The second is blank. Choose the chart that meets your classroom needs. For multi-staff a consistent prompt is very helpful.
There are two sheets with two sizes of pocket charts and that is just personal preference. The smaller pocket chart fits with my id badge on my lanyard so I have it with me all the time.
You could even keep one at the the students desks or in their personal binder (backpack, etc).
