I have been using this simple and inconspicuous behavior chart for 10 years! I love it, my students love it and it works! We are all familiar with the color system chart or the red, yellow, green behavior tools. Well I just never had the wall space for that nonsense and I hated managing clips! So I came up with a much easier tool. Its a chart on one paper that I place in a protective sheet on a clipboard. It does not take up precious wall space and it is easy to take with you! Just print and write down students names and your ready to go! My students are responsible for their behavior all day even during specials. (The special teachers love it and thank me for letting them use it as a tool). I tend to let the class manager monitor the class while we are in the hallway and let me tell you my class always has the best hallway style! When a student has to change their chart all I do is point and they will grab the expo and mark the change. I use behavior tickets along with each change and they just go and grab a ticket and bring it to me. I quickly check the behavior from a list of popular behaviors they must get it signed and returned the next day. The next day I grab the clip board ask for my notes home and erase it and we are ready for the new day!
