This Behavior Management Scale is an amazing tool and resource to use in your classroom! It allows the students to measure and track their behavior (the good, the bad, and the best) using a visual clip chart. One of the major differences in this behavior management system and others is the use of numbers and behavior descriptions instead of colors and phrases.
Included are FOUR different designs of the behavior management clip chart: “Big Kids”, “Little Kids”, “Bunting Banners”, and “Numbers”. The "Big Kids" and "Little Kids" designs both include students showing appropriate emotions for that number on the scale (great for your ELL students). There are also two different versions (portrait and landscape) of editable “Rewards”, “Consequences”, and “Ways to Move on the Scale” posters.
How to use: Students will begin their day on number 3 and if they are exhibiting exceptional behavior, they move up the scale to number 4. If they are having some issues, they will move down the scale to number 2 or 1. No consequences are included in the descriptions - only general behavior descriptions.
