Here is a behavior management style I have used for the last 6 years with my kindergarteners and second graders. The students all start on green to be "recharged" each day. I give them verbal warnings before moving their clothespin with either their name or corresponding number. The great thing about this management style is the students have a chance to redeem themselves and improve their behavior. There is a parent letter explaining the behavior management system for the beginning of the year. I also included a boy/girl sheet that can be sent home each day to inform parents of behavior. A simple check is all that is needed and you have a great form of communication with your parents:)
