Behavior Management System
Product Description
I believe that students should learn in a positive and safe environment where students work together to promote and achieve learning. I use a unique behavior system that the kids LOVE! It is similar to a clip chart. At the beginning of the day each student starts on Sunny. Depending on their behavior they can move up to Rainbow or move down to Cloudy and even to Stormy if its a really bad day. The students have many chances throughout the day to move up or down and at the end of the day I pass out the squares that indicate how they behaved that day and they share it with their parents. If it is a Rainbow or Sunny day that glue it on their chart.

Classroom set up:
I laminated the kids names and put magnets on the back. I hang metal pizza pans with the behavior signs on them (included). Its up to you how you would want to display the behavior system in your classroom.

I've included:
*Behavior Chart
*Rainbow Days (cut out squares)
*Sunny Days (cut out squares)
*Cloudy Days (cut out squares)
*Stormy Days (cut out squares)
*Rainbow Day Sign (for behavior wall in classroom)
*Sunny Day Sign (for behavior wall in classroom)
*Cloudy Day Sign (for behavior wall in classroom)
*Stormy Day Sign (for behavior wall in classroom)

Classroom Behavior Management
Students are held to high expectations, academically and behaviorally. When a student is modeling positive behavior inside and outside the classroom, they will be rewarded. When a student is having a difficult time making positive choices, they will have a consequence. Throughout the school day, the children will have many chances to show positive behavior, in situations that they do not, they are able to change and make better choices.

Rainbow Day= I had a GREAT DAY, and I was a role model :)

Sunny Day= I had a GOOD DAY, and I was a hard worker :)

Cloudy Day= Not my best day, and I need to make better choices.

Stormy Day= Not a good day, and did not make good choices :(

Behavior Chart
I give each student a behavior chart at the beginning of the year and tell them to keep it somewhere safe! It is their responsibility to attach the RAINBOW and SUNNY days on this chart (not cloudy or stormy), and when the chart is full they bring it back to me and they can earn their reward for having positive behavior and trying their best! I will let them pick something out of the prize box and then give them a new black behavior chart that they will work on filling up again with RAINBOW and SUNNY days!

I copy the behavior chart on white paper and I copy the rainbow, sunny, cloudy, and stormy days on colored paper.

Copying:
Behavior Chart= white paper
Rainbow Days= Bright Pink
Sunny Days= Bright Yellow
Cloudy Days= Light Blue
Stormy Days= Dark Blue or Gray

I HOPE YOU ENJOY THIS FUN BEHAVIOR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM :)
