Product Description
I love my Behavior Clip Chart! But I was looking for an easy and quick way to keep track of student behavior and communicate student behavior to parents. Out of necessity, this Behavior Management Binder was created.

The included files are PowerPoint. Please make sure you have this program before purchasing.

**The pages in this binder set can be modified and edited by the user to match any behavior clip chart you are currently using in your classroom. Please note- no graphics can be modified due to copyright law**

Not sure how to edit an editable document? Click here for some tips.

What's Included?
- Behavior Binder Cover - the name on the cover can be edited so that you can type in your own name (see the thumbnails for my example of this cover)

- Behavior Binder Guide - 3 different versions of this page include
*a version that is not editable
*a second version where you can type in your own behavior codes and text into the behavior chart example
*a third version where you can create your own rows for the behavior chart example as well as type in your own text and behavior codes
(I keep this page tucked in the inside pocket of my Behavior Binder as a reminder to me of the different behavior codes or incase an assistant or substitute is tracking behavior for the day)

-Behavior Tracking Page - this is a weekly page. Use the text box to type your student names into the left column boxes. Then write the behavior codes for students who moved their clip down and color in the box for each child each day to keep track of the behavior chart color they ended on. (See my thumbnails for an example of how I use this page)

-Behavior Charts for Student Take-Home Folders - I have included 3 sets of behavior charts for August-June.
*The first set is not editable
*The second set allows you to type your own text into the example behavior chart and create your own behavior codes
*The third set allows you to create as many boxes as you need to match your own behavior clip chart. You can then type in your own text and behavior codes

-Incentive Charts - simple yet colorful behavior incentive charts
I use these to reward good behavior by letting students who end the day on blue add 1 sticker to their chart, students who end on pink add 2 stickers, and students who end on purple add 3 stickers. When a sticker chart is full (there are 30 boxes), that student receives a treat and a new sticker chart.

I hope that the pages in this resource can help you manage behavior in your classroom. They have definitely helped me! The ideas listed above are the ways in which I use the pages but you are welcome to use them in any way that best fits the needs of your classroom.

*Additional Tip - I have my students color in their own behavior charts as a way to promote ownership for their own behavior. I take the last 15 min while we are packing up and call 2 students back to my reading table at a time. The students check our behavior clip chart and show me the card that their clip is on. Then they come back to the table and color in that day's box with the matching color. While they are coloring their chart, I color in that student's box, matched with the day, in my Behavior Management Binder. This helps me keep track of behavior in case a take-home behavior chart goes missing. Because that never happens, right?!
