This simple checklist can be used to motivate a student to be on their best behavior. Simply set a daily goal for a student (I would recommend starting small and building to a more rigorous goal), and then throughout the day, the student can be monitored. If the student is not complying to one of the selected behavior goals listed on the sheet, they will not be able to get a point for the selected area. However, if they are displaying appropriate behavior, they will be able to get their points and total them up to see if they were able to reach their goal! I often let my students pick from a prize box, but they could get to go out to the bus 5 minutes early, high-five their friends on the way out the door to go home, eat lunch with a teacher, or whatever you feel is appropriate!
The sheet can be edited as needed and provides a basic outline for what a daily routine might look like for an elementary student. This sheet can also be used as a tool for behavioral data collection. (Yay!)
