Say goodbye to stocking treasure chests! These behavior reward coupons can be used year after year and are sure to have your kiddos working hard to earn special classroom privileges!
This product includes drawer labels to help you organize your coupons. The labels fit the 24 drawer storage cabinet by Akro-Mils. I bought mine here: https://www.amazon.com/Akro-Mils-10124-Plastic-Hardware-6-5-Inch/dp/B003TV3NL0
There is an option to edit the coupon values on the drawer labels. I have also provided drawer labels with no coupon values in case your behavior system does not require students to earn points or a certain amount of something. The choice is yours!
How I Use Them:
In my classroom I use a behavior management plan called "Gold Tags". I learned about the idea from A Teeny Tiny Teacher. You can read more about it on her blog here: http://www.ateenytinyteacher.com/i-dont-use-clip-chart-please-dont-throw/
I give my little ones gold tags (yellow strips of construction paper) for good behavior. They can earn coupons when they reach increments of 10, 12, or 15 gold tags; the choice of when to cash in their gold tags is completely up to them. The coupons set at higher values are obviously the more enticing choices such as lunch with the teacher and extra tech time. I feel as though this really allows students to take charge of their own behavior! Don't you think?
If you have any questions or would like to see another coupon added, please let me know!
Enjoy, and as always, happy teaching! :)
