❤ This social skills story was created to assist children on the autism spectrum, in inclusive classrooms, in special education, as well as the primary educational setting. This story was designed to assist students who respond to frustration by hitting, pinching, biting, head-butting, or other self-injurious behaviors, and facilitate appropriate responses. Social Stories are a visual guide to describe interactions, situations, behaviors, skills or concepts, and are most effective when read consistently, as the understanding and coping skills develop over time.
