Directions: Fold the paper horizontally in half. Cut the top flap on the lines, all the way to the fold. Have the students name five classroom behaviors they would like to change. (You can also speak to the teacher to find out what five behaviors they are corrected the most on in the classroom). Have the student write one behavior on the outside of each flap. Have the student lift the flap and write down one positive thing he/she can do when feeling the urge to make the poor choice. Discuss the results with the student. This activity should be used to help lead a conversation. The goal is for the student to recognize positive behaviors they can use to replace the negative behaviors.
