When students misbehave, it is important for them to think about and understand what they did wrong. More importantly, to follow their actions with consequences, students should consider what they should have done instead. After an incident, a child can complete this think sheet with 3 columns: What I did, Why it was wrong, and What should I have done. Then this sheet can be filed by the teacher or sent home for a parent signature. Hopefully, this will encourage more thoughtful and positive future behaviors.
