I use this method of classroom management when I have a large class or a loud and rowdy group. I’ve introduced it at the beginning of the year and in the middle of the year, as needed. It creates a little extra work outside of class, but it works extremely well. After a few days of this system, all it takes to quiet a loud, off-task class is for me to reach for my pile of sorry tickets!
