This unit includes a multitude of visuals to assist in setting up classroom management in your classroom. The things included in this unit are the following:
-Stop and Think Action Plan - Use when students have been part of a situation that requires thought processing to make better choices. Did you make someone feel comfortable or uncomfortable? Did you have expected or unexpected actions? Was your problem big or small? I have used this document to communicate the situation to parents.
-Behavior Unit - This document starts off with a behavior matrix that correlates the child's engine speed with his/her possible feelings/emotions, and strategies to calm. There are three different clip charts. One identifies how the body is feeling, another is a clip chart for an older student and a younger student. Based on a child's behaviors they can receive clip ups (good choices) or clip downs (poor choices). Also, there is an engines running picture sort. Lastly, there are Cars visuals for students to identify how their body is feeling.
3-2-1 Visual for Stopping a Task - I use this visual (picture one and one with words) to help students with receiving warnings before they are expected to stop working. It includes a green visual for working, a yellow visual for putting materials away, and a red visual for stopping.
