Students with communication delays benefit from having visual supports to help them navigate their day. By incorporating visuals with your teaching you are also providing more opportunities to share how they are feeling and thinking.

PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS SET IF YOU ALREADY OWN MY AAC Starter Kit! All of these behavior visuals are included in that set and I do not want you to spend extra money.

Imagine trying to share with a friend you need to go to the bathroom with no words or pictures. It would be tough! We want our students to have a voice and not have to exhibit unexpected behaviors to communicate their needs.

These behavior visuals are designed primarily to work with students with Autism that need visual supports to help them with transitioning to new activities and increase verbal and picture communication to help them share their needs, wants and ideas. These behavior visuals can be used with any student and have been helpful for students with special needs, language impairments and/or students that are visual learners and struggle with transitions in the classroom.

Many of the behavior visuals in this set can be printed, laminated and used with a dry erase marker during your lessons. Some of the activities need to be laminated and visuals can be adhered with Velcro. Directions for certain visuals are on the page to reference for assembly.

This is a winzip resource and an editable powerpoint is included with this set. You can open the powerpoint and create your own visuals that are specific to the needs of your students.
