PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

In this activity, students use a gas law simulation from the website http://ch301.cm.utexas.edu/simulations/gas-laws/GasLawSimulator.swf
to discover the relationship among the number of particles, temperature, pressure, volume, and speed of particles. They are able to describe how particles in a gas move and answer questions relating to the Kinetic Molecular Theory.
They also discover Boyle's Law and Charles's Law through a guided inquiry process in which they change different parameters to see how the pressure of a gas is affected.
