You may use any or all of this resource as your behaviour management tools in your classroom. The flow chart is an example of how all the different pages fit together in your School Wide Behaviour Management Plan. The classroom rules are divided into three sections Rules for Safety, Learning and Respect
There are two charts; a Rewards and a Consequences chart. The Traffic Lights are a visual cue for your students. They remind them of what behaviours are acceptable and which they need to “STOP” for and make a better choice. A Happy Gram is included to send home to parents. A Reflection Sheet is for students to think and take responsibility for their own behaviour. The Student Intervention Record to teach children “how to talk to each other before things get out of hand”. The Student Monitoring Card is where the Principal or another party becomes involved in the management of a student’s behaviour. The Record of Behaviour (Positive and Negative) is a class record. This may be used to reward those students on assembly, or for special school rewards. It also helps keep track of the “quiet” students, who seem to be “forgotten” so that a “fair system” is in place for all students.
