Use these google slides to implement the practice of bell ringers/class starters in your classroom. Starting class with a daily question or activity for students to do is a great way to get their minds thinking about your content and avoid discipline problems while you're taking attendance and catching up absent students. This download gives you the templates and instructions on how to use them in your setting.

You will get links to two google slide files to make copies of: the teacher set and the student set. Each slide set has instructions included on how to use them and can be edited to fit your needs. Once you have each template formatted the way you like, make copies for each month of the school year.

The teacher set of slides allows you to organize the questions for all of your preps in one spot. As stated above, I have a different set for each month of the school year so I can find my information easily. You can customize the colors for each class you have. The daily slide shows the question, homework, and agenda. This set of slides also includes the "find your partner" slide I show when my students will be participating in groups that day.

The student slides can be assigned at the beginning of each month for easy grading. They'll update their name and complete one slide for each question. It includes their expectations as well so they can review them as needed.
