This is a great resource that is ready to go and covers so many skills. I also like that it has the definitions for the grammar at the top!!
I am just a couple weeks in with these, but they have been a life saver! I used EB Writing and these are a perfect addition to it!

Description

These 6th Grade ELA Bell Ringers (Vol. 3) were created to provide you with warm ups and mini-lessons to help you teach many of the Common Core ELA Standards, including: Reading Literature, Reading Informational Text, Writing, and Language. These ELA bell ringers will help keep your students engaged and challenged at the beginning of each day and/or class period. This volume was created for 6th Grade! Check out Volume 1, which was created for Grade 8 and Volume 2, which was created for Grade 7.

This resource includes a fully DIGITAL student version, a PRINT version, and an EDITABLE PowerPoint version, so you can utilize this resource to fully meet your students' needs.

These Bell Ringers are set up differently than other bell ringers you may have seen. As opposed to having specific days of the week set aside for different skills (i.e. Word of the Week Wednesday), each day looks different in many of the weeks. The purpose in doing this is to address many of the Common Core ELA Standards, but also to make sure your students don’t get bored with the same thing over and over again each week!

*Please note that much of the content spirals throughout the year and students practice certain skills on a consistent basis! So, this is also a great ELA review.*

*NOW INCLUDED: Slides version and a Google Slides Version to help you save paper! Simply display digitally or print out the slides and display each day on your projector.*
