Here's four weeks
of bellringers all based on the included non-fiction text that gives facts and points of interest about 4 different places in the USA - The Grand Canyon, Washington D.C., New York City and Orlando! It's a great way to learn new facts, prepare for summer and learn at the same time!
Each week, students are given one sentence from the text and are asked questions about:
★ text structure
★ types of sentences
★ grammar (adjectives)
★ re-writing sentences with new ideas
★ reading skills like cause/effect, tone, connotation apposition, and author's purpose
Students can record their answers on the question sheet or by using a special interactive notebook foldable that matches the sentence for each week!
