Benchmark Advance Reading Strategies Trifold Growing Bundle
This resource includes trifolds that go along with all the units in Benchmark Advance. It includes the short reads, word study reads, and extended reads. It includes different reading strategies for each story and gives students practice with each strategy. Students will need the Benchmark Advance Student Magazine with the stories. These trifolds align with each story found in the student magazines. They can be used for small group, or individual student work. Some of the strategies that are covered are inferences, cause and effect, compare/contrast, making judgements, summarizing, key details, main idea and more. To set this activity up, just print and give them to students. You can also project the trifold pages to let students view as a class.
