Are your second grade students learning to skip-count using BENCHMARK or LANDMARK numbers? These student-friendly math worksheets will give your second or third grade students the additional practice they need to know how to count more efficiently using Benchmark or Landmark numbers. Use for extra practice in math centers, classwork, homework, or to assist with math intervention.
Included in this resource are 2 of each of the following worksheets:
- Frozen Fun - Students circle the benchmark numbers in each row.
- Sweet Xs and Os - Students mark the boxes with X or O to identify benchmark and non-benchmark numbers.
- Sweet Treats - Students color the numbered ice pops according to a color code.
- Cool Counting - Students fill in the next 2 numbers using benchmark numbers.
- Two Scoops - Students fill in the benchmark numbers before and after a given number.
- Brain Freeze Fun - Students fill in the missing numbers in rows of 5 boxes, using regular and benchmark numbers.
- Ice Cream Extreme Challenge - Students complete rows of 10 boxes to get from one number to another, using regular and benchmark numbers along the way.
- Catch the Ice Cream Truck - Students follow a path filling in 8 numbers with 'checkpoints' along the way.
