Product Description
MY STUDENTS TOOK THE PILOT TEST FOR SMARTER BALANCED AND SAID THIS REALLY HELPED THEM BE PREPARED FOR THE TEST!

This item is a powerpoint that will help students to learn how to cite textual evidence. I find this to be really tough for my students in seventh and eighth grade. There is a great video included that will tell you all about pattern folders and how to make them for your students. I provide you with examples of evidence from the book Beneath a Meth Moon to get students started thinking about themes in the book. Also, you can talk about how themes develop over the course of the whole book. Enjoy!
