PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This product is a mini unit on the life of Bessie Coleman, the first African-American female pilot and is part of my Famous African-Americans mini biography series. It includes a biography, comprehension questions for deep thinking, and 10 activities! Everything you need is here!

This unit can stand alone with the included biography or can incorporate the picture book Fly High! The Story of Bessie Coleman by Louise Borden and Mary Kay Kroeger.

This unit includes:

** Bessie Coleman original biography – 639 words, so it would be appropriate for advanced 2nd graders through 5th grade.
