My students are learning how to find the best buy, or item that is cheaper.
I started my lesson with pg 3 and 4- my students learned what cheaper and more expensive means by circling the product that costs less/more.
Then we did pages 1 and 2- my students had to compare the two stores with the same items to find out which store had the item for less. To make sure they understood the concept, they also completed a worksheet on more expensive items (circle the item that costs more).
pg 5 and 6- this is one worksheet where students must compare prices to find the best buy as well as how much they would save. This worksheet is all word problems.
