I created this daily communication log for my son's Intervention Specialist last year. After receiving daily written notes for years (that often didn't contain the information I really needed to know) I decided to find a quick and pratical solution that saves valuable instructional time. It was designed to be completed with the student for three reasons:
1.) it allows for additional practice recalling daily events.
2.) Allows students to practice fine motor skills (even pre-writers).
3.) Designed to increase daily communication between parent & child.
Teachers are encouraged to laminate the daily communication sheet and use a dry erase marker when writing each day. This saves time (spent on making copies), money, and the earth!
