Most of the states have abandoned NO CHILD LEFT BEHIND and are implementing the GROWTH MODEL which requires teachers to demonstrate students' growth in preparing for college or preparing for work. I know this curriculum documents growth for succeeding in the world of work! I used it for 20 years, and I have documentation that 87% of the students demonstrated growth in learning about how to succeed on a job.
All of the lessons are individualized and competency-based.
Each lesson has a number in the top right hand corner that shows the reading level (varies from 1 to 7th grade usually).
There is a pre/post test for the curriculum to be used to demonstrate growth (FOR DATA COLLECTING FOR THE GROWTH MODEL)
There is a pre/post test for each unit to be used to demonstrate growth (DATA COLLECTING FOR THE GROWTH MODEL)
Students can work in the curriculum individually (there is a checklist to keep track of lessons done) or it can be used as material to present to the class as a whole. (YOUR CHOICE)
