Why ask a child to copy Jolly Jellyfish Silly Nonsense when you could be teaching them verses of the Bible simple enough to write all on their own?
This is a 16 page book of Bible verses for Kindergarten to Year 2. It uses NSW Foundation Handwriting font, the requirement for New South Wales. This is pretty close to the other Australian Handwriting fonts. It is designed for children who can already form letters correctly and are ready for sentences. This is a great way to teach many sight words because the CEV Bible has such a simple vocabulary.
I've chosen Landscape orientation because this does not discriminate against left handers (like ME), who are often forced to lean on the spine of the book in which they are trying to write. I recommend stapling across the top.
Although I designed this to use with homeschooled kids, a Christian teacher in a Christian school could use it too. What a way to impact your class for eternity!
