My Personal Statement of Faith (adapted from Bethany Community Fellowship):
I believe the Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, and therefore are the supreme and final authority for faith and life.
I believe there is one living and true God, an infinite Spirit, the Maker and Supreme Ruler of the heavens and earth, inexpressibly glorious in holiness, and worthy of all honor, confidence, and love.
I believe there is one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
I believe man was created in the image and likeness of God and had freedom and power to will and to do what was good and acceptable to Him. In Adam’s sin, man lost his innocence and incurred the penalty of spiritual and physical death and became subject to God’s wrath, corrupt and incapable of choosing to do anything acceptable to Him. Since man is hopelessly lost, salvation is wholly of God’s grace through the redemptive work of Christ.
I believe that salvation is in Christ alone, by grace alone, through faith alone.
