This study guide has students researching 75 biblical characters, stories, and phrases that are commonly used as allusions in nonfiction and fiction literary works. You have the flexibility of having students work independently, in pairs, or small groups by having them split the list up and share their findings. A 30 multiple choice question test (with answer key) is also included. This activity and test is a quick way to introduce their allusions at the beginning of an AP (language or literature) course. It also works well for earlier grades.
