Looking for a way to spice up your instruction on research and bibliographies? Want a simple explanation for your students so they don't get overwhelmed by the process before even getting started? Then, this is exactly what you need!
The Powerpoint starts off what tips on getting started and clearly lays out for the students what information to write down on their notecards while researching. The last half shows students how to take what they wrote down and put the information in order with the correct punctuation in the completed bibliography. Add a few flashy animations and sounds, and we have a winner!
This is an original creation by Jennifer Chandler who has successfully used this presentation with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. The language is simple enough for 5th graders, and the basic information would be a great review tool for high-school students as well.
