Students will practice using the steps of the scientific method to find out if a new medicine works! "The Big Pill Company is testing a new acne medicine..."
I always used this as a guided practice in my class. After learning the steps of the S.M., students would get a chance to answer these questions, then they would compare answers and statements with a partner, before going over as a class. Questions 3, 5, & 6 answers are dependent on the student's interpretation of how to set up the experiment.
