These shape posters have so many uses in my kindergarten classroom!
I had a really hard time finding shapes that referred to the "diamond" as a "rhombus", so I decided to make my own.
The colors coordinate with common pattern blocks.
The shapes fill the page and can be expanded to fill an 11x17" paper for bigger bulletin boards.
Here are some ways that I've used these in my classroom:
-As a shape reference bulletin board
-On my Focus wall for the "shape of the week"
-As sorting mats to sort pattern blocks
You could also print them and use them above your table groups as a reference for students and to help you with management.
I included some brief directions on how to print on larger paper, but please ask any questions before purchasing.
-Rectangle (light green)
I am happy to change up the colors to your preference. Please let me know if you need any modifications!
