Dolch and Fry Sight Words. Students with autism and cognitive impairments often have difficulty with comparative terms such as big and little or long and short. This activity assists students in learning to differentiate between “Big” and “Little” using real pictures and words that complement any sight word program, especially those designed for students with learning disabilities.
This product includes 100 labeled photos. All of my products are designed to aid teachers and parents in differentiating for their struggling readers and students with special needs. Students can sort them on the mats provided or into two bins labeled “Big” and “Little”. To encourage verbal expression, you can use the photos like flashcards. They can also be used as an assessment.
