Kindly note that this product can be used both with young children and with older individuals with learning difficulties including autism spectrum disorder amongst others.
Simply print, laminate and cut around the flash cards.
Find the labels 'big' and 'small' on the last page and stick a piece of velcro to the back of the laminated cards.
Stick onto two similar boxes with velcro on the front to clearly display where the individual must sort the big items and the small items during therapy.
Start with the simpler examples and move onto more complex and different examples.
It is important to present pairs together and explain which pictures show big items and which pictures show small or little items.
Finish with the different coloured jars to ensure that the student has understood the concept of sorting according to size despite differences in colour.
You can add a step by mixing the footballs and beach balls together to increase complexity.
