Product Description
The bilingual (English/Spanish) sight word cards in this packet have been set-up in several different formats so that they can be used in various ways.

• There is a 1-page list of all 100 English sight words with their Spanish translations on page 3.

You could print one for each of your students and punch holes in it so they could clip it into a writing or homework folder.

• Cards with both English sight words and Spanish translations in 2 sizes to suite your needs.

7.5" by 3.33" on pages 4 - 37.
5" by 2.5" on pages 38 - 54.

Print them on index or card stock. Then, cut them apart, trim them, and laminate for durability.

They could be used on a word wall or as study cards.

• 5" by 2.5" single-language cards. (Print on index or card stock.)

English cards on pages 56 - 72.
Spanish cards on pages 73 - 89.

You could print English cards, or Spanish cards, or English on one side and Spanish on the other.

These cards could be used on a word wall, as a matching Concentration-type game, or as a Jeopardy-type game.

If you use them as a matching game, I recommend using 10 words at a time so that you would have 20 cards spread out on the table.

If you use them as a Jeopardy-type game, use 25 at a time (1-25, 26-50, 51-75, or 76-100). Then, place 5 columns with 5 cards in each in a pocket chart. Label the columns and place point values going down each column (100, 200, 300, 400, and 500). In each pocket, place the Spanish word cards in back, the matching English word cards next (or vise versa), and the point amount on top. When a student chooses a column and point amount, reveal the top word card. The student reads the word and gives the translation. Then, reveal the bottom card to see if they were right. Tally the points to determine the winner.

There are probably many more uses for these cards that I have not thought of. I hope you and your students will enjoy them and find them to be very helpful.
