Directions for Use:
Before beginning, players will need to get something to write on for the final question.
Each game begins on the slide that shows the game board. When you click on a point value, a hyperlink takes you to the Spanish word or words for one of the English sight words. After a player gives the English translation, click in the white space to check the answer. (All of the Spanish and English word slides advance by clicking in the white space.) Tally the score and click in the white space to return to the game board. The numbers on buttons that have already been chosen turn white. Continue until all point values have been chosen.
After all point values have been chosen, players can look at their scores and decide how many points they want to wager on the final question. Click on the bottom, final question, button. That takes you to a slide which has a sentence written in Spanish. After reading the directions and the Spanish sentence, click to play the theme music while players write their English translation of the words. When the music stops, check players' answers. Then, click in the white area to reveal the correct answer. Tally players' scores to determine the winner.
Thank you for downloading these Bilingual Game Shows. I hope they will be a fun way for your students to practice the English translations of these high-frequency words as well as how to read and write them.
Please let me know what you think of these games and how you and your students are using them in you classroom. By giving this bundle a rating, you will help me a great deal and you will receive TpT credits to use on future purchases.
