PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This lesson was created for upper elementary, middle school, or early high school students and is a great way to introduce or re-teach geology, weathering, erosion, and deposition. This is an extremely popular lesson in my classroom! Students love the rare opportunity to enjoy a video, but the challenge is keeping them engaged. That challenge is met with the attached comic style activity. Students need to stay engaged in the video to determine the correct answers and graphic representations cue students when answers might be coming. Package include 2 page student worksheet aligned with Bill Nye the Science Guy Erosion (episode #94). Full teacher key with all answers included. Graphic format and practice differentiate for different learning styles. This activity packet will be a great resource for any curriculum that teaches geology, erosion, deposition, or weathering. This activity would work well with a sub if desired. Approximately one class period in length. Created by Mister Science.
